The Challenge

How might we encourage people to connect with each other and revitalize their neighborhoods?

Outcome

Playful Placemaking

Imagine a neighborhood that becomes a destination for fun.

District of Play is a proposal to engage people with each other and their environment with playful objects that populate a place over time.

Duo emerged from this concept as a modern twist on the traditional wheelbarrow game that repurposed discarded bicycle tires to create a game that utilizes balance and trust.
